Dr. Joshua Green was born and raised in Philadelphia and has lived in Florida for the past 25 years. Dr. Green graduated with Honors from the prestigious Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, and then completed rigorous training in General Surgery and Urology at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital. While in Miami, Dr. Green participated in infertility research at the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis on the semen and sperm of men who have suffered spinal cord injuries. He has been honored to present research findings at the annual meetings of the American Urological Association and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. After his training in general urology, Dr. Green obtained further training in microsurgery and vasectomy reversal through the American Urologic Association in Houston.
Dr. Green has performed hundreds of vasectomy reversals, as well as other male infertility procedures, finely tuning his skills over years of clinical practice. He founded his Center for Vasectomy Reversal in order to provide optimal surgical results while maintaining the highest level of patient care. Dr. Green and his staff make themselves available to his patients seven days a week, and every patient will receive Dr. Green's personal cellphone number.
Dr. Green also takes great pride in teaching. He is Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Clinical Sciences, Florida State University College of Medicine. Additionally, he is past Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Sarasota Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Green resides in Sarasota, Florida with his wife and three children. When not spending time with his family, Dr. Green also dedicates himself to giving back to his community through service in the non-profit world.
